Search for CP violation in B0-B0 mixing using partial reconstruction of B0→D*- Xℓ+ νℓ and a kaon tag.
We present results of a search for CP violation in B0- B0 mixing with the BABAR detector. We select a sample of B0→D*- Xℓ+ ν decays with a partial reconstruction method and use kaon tagging to assess the flavor of the other B meson in the event. We determine the CP violating asymmetry ACP≡[N(B0B0)-N(B0B0)]/[N(B0B0)+N(B0B0)]=(0.06±0.17(-0.32)(+0.38))%, corresponding to ΔCP=1-|q/p|=(0.29±0.84(-1....
متن کاملSearch for T, CP, and CPT violation in B0-B0 mixing with inclusive dilepton events.
We report the results of a search for T, CP, CPT, and violation in B0-B0 mixing using an inclusive dilepton sample collected by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II factory. Using a sample of 232 x 10(6) BB pairs, we measure the T and CP violation parameter |q/p| - 1 = (-0.8 +/- 2.7(stat) +/- 1.9(syst) x 10(-3), and the CPT and CP parameters Imz = (13.9 +/- 7.3(stat) +/- 3.2(syst)) x 10(-3) and D...
متن کاملMeasurement of the Semileptonic CP Asymmetry in B0-B̄0 Mixing
The semileptonic CP asymmetry in B-B̄ mixing, asl, is measured in proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb−1, recorded by the LHCb experiment. Semileptonic B decays are reconstructed in the inclusive final states D−μþ and D −μþ, where the D− meson decays into theKþπ−π− final state and theD − meson into the D̄0ð→ Kþπ−Þπ− final state. The asymmetry between t...
متن کاملB 0 s − B0 s Mixing in Leptophobic Z ′ Model
Abstract Leptophobic Z ′ gauge boson appears naturally in many grand unified theories, such as flipped SU(5) or string-inspired E6 models. This elusive particle easily escapes the direct/indirect detections because it does not couple to charged leptons. However, it can generate flavor changing neutral current at tree level. In this letter, we show that the recently measured mass difference, ∆ms...
متن کاملIssues on NLO pQCD Programs
This paper summarizes a talk presented at the Durham HERA ’98 Workshop. We compare the features that are available in NLO pQCD programs and demonstrate that understanding where in phase space NLO calculations are accurate is vital for extracting information from measurements at the HERA experiments. A major task of the HERA experiments is to test pQCD features and the extraction of the proton s...
